This memo is an addendum to the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). Using 3-digit North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) subsectors, this analysis highlights the top 10 most competitive industries at the regional and county level based on Location Quotient (LQ). Industries are evaluated based on total employment, change in total employment from 2010 to 2017, and their average weekly wages. For additional context, the average weekly wages in the most competitive industries are compared to the average weekly wages of the respective industry at the national level.Geographic Area Covered: DVRPC Nine-County Region

Title VI Statement
The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, Executive Order 12898 on Environmental Justice, and related nondiscrimination mandates in all programs and activities. DVRPC’s public meetings are always held in ADA-accessible facilities, and held in transit-accessible locations whenever possible. Translation, interpretation, or other auxiliary services can be provided to individuals who submit a request at least seven days prior to a public meeting.
