This revitalization tool provides an organized method of collecting quantitative statistics, such as census data and traffic counts, as well as qualitative data, such as the number of pedestrian benches. This tool has been created to assist in the periodic measurement of reinvestment taking place within the retail district or downtown. The tool has been designed as an excel spreadsheet that may be downloaded and personalized by the user. Such users may include Business Improvement District (BID) directors, municipal officials, retail recruiters, Main Street organizations or volunteer groups. This revitalization tracker is a follow up to DVRPC's 2013 study, Revitalizing Suburban Downtown Retail Districts, which assessed the health of 71 suburban downtown retail districts in an effort to learn what elements were common.Geographic Area Covered: DVRPC 9-county region

Title VI Statement
The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, Executive Order 12898 on Environmental Justice, and related nondiscrimination mandates in all programs and activities. DVRPC’s public meetings are always held in ADA-accessible facilities, and held in transit-accessible locations whenever possible. All requests will be accommodated to the greatest extent possible.
Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice by DVRPC under Title VI and/or ADA has a right to file a formal complaint.
