The purpose of the Tracking Progress project is to determine whether the adopted Long-Range Plan goals are being met. While there are several exercises performance indicators that have been undertaken by various entities within the region for various purposes, none have been systematically comprehensive to evaluate the effectiveness of DVRPC's Long-Range Plan goals. Tracking Progress is designed to collect and compile meaningful time series data sets that can help DVRPC and its partners make more effective decisions. Tracking Progress is an ongoing outcome-based effort to align DVRPC's planning and implementation activities, and it will guide the region's investment strategy to help achieve the vision and goals set forth in "Connections - The Regional Plan for a Sustainable Future." It will also help identify priority initiatives for the "Connections 2040 Long-Range Plan".
