This document represents the findings and recommendations for the Bucks County Congestion and Crash Site Analysis project. This project represents an effort to improve the mobility and safety of the roadways in the DVRPC region. The goal of the program is to identify cost-effective improvement strategies that will reduce congestion and crashes and improve mobility and safety for all road users. Working with the Bucks County Planning Commission, five intersections located in the Holland Business District (Rocksville Road/Holland Road; Rocksville Road/Buck Road; Buck Road/Holland Road; Buck Road/Chinquapin Road; and Buck Road/Old Bristol Road) were chosen for analysis. These intersections were identified as having congestion and safety issues. In-depth crash and level of service analyses were performed to quantify and gain an understanding of the issues. With input from local stakeholders, improvement strategies were identified to address the issues. As appropriate, proposed improvement strategies were tested for level of effectiveness.Geographic Area Covered: Northampton Township, Bucks County
