This report examines the successful retiming and optimization effort of the current 10-signal closed loop system along US 1/Baltimore Pike and PA 352/Middletown Road in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, to improve the system’s overall performance. Measures of effectiveness for retiming the system include intersection level of service improvements, air quality improvements, and travel time savings.Geographic Area Covered: DVRPC region, Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
