5. DVRPC Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Actions
The dynamic nature of funding transportation improvements and the need to remain within financial constraint require amendments or modifications to the TIP. The following projects requires formal TIP Amendments or Modifications this month for the FY 2017 TIP for PA and the FY 2016 for NJ.
a. NJ18-009: Washington Turnpike, Bridge over West Branch of Wading River, (DB #15324), Burlington County – Add a PE Phase
b. NJ18-010: Route 130, Columbus Road/Jones Street (DB #02397), Burlington County – Add Project Back Into the TIP
c. NJ18-011: Hanover Street Bridge over Rancocas Creek, CR 616, (DB #D9902), Burlington County – Federalize Project
d. NJ18-012: ADA Improvements, (DB #D1505), City of Camden – Add Project Back Into the TIP
e. NJ18-013: Signal Upgrades, (DB #D1507), Mercer County – Add Project Back Into the TIP
f. NJ18-014: Gloucester County Multi-Purpose Trail Extension - Glassboro Elk Trail, (DB #D1203), Gloucester County – Add ROW Phase Back into the TIP

6. TMA Assistance and MAP Grant Work Programs
Staff will present the FY19 and FY20 budgets for the PA TMA Assistance grant and the Mobility Alternatives Program (MAP) grant, with work program highlights, for discussion and approval.

7. Megaregional planning with the Central Jersey Transportation Forum
The Central Jersey Transportation Forum was established in 1999 to convene representatives from municipal, county, and transportation agencies in Mercer, Somerset, and Middlesex Counties to allow stakeholders to discuss and address transportation and land use issues in the high-growth, Central Jersey region. Staff will present a history of the Forum's achievements and some of the highlights from its most recent Strategic Planning exercise which set the direction for planning at the edge of these two MPO regions for the next 3-5 years.
8. Freight Movement Around NJ Turnpike Interchange 6A
This study examines traffic circulation along the US 130 corridor in the industrial area by NJ Turnpike Interchange 6A in Florence Township. The study area includes one of the DVRPC region’s fastest growing Freight Centers. It is expected to accommodate over 10 million square feet of additional warehouse and industrial space by 2025. This study addresses the need to accommodate future growth by identifying roadway improvements that can support greater traffic volumes generated by the new development.
9. East Callowhill Street Traffic Calming Study
Callowhill Street is an important westbound street that functions as a gateway to Center City Philadelphia and as a crosstown arterial for the Old City and Northern Liberties neighborhoods. This project analyzed existing transportation conditions, and assessed road diet and other streetscaping techniques to complement the renewal and growth in the East Callowhill Street area.

10. Bicycle and Pedestrian Count Viewer Survey and Data Vision
DVRPC is currently gathering responses for a survey about, and available through, our Bicycle and Pedestrian Count Viewer. Staff will learn more about how this data is being accessed and used and by whom. These results are part of an ongoing internal effort to plan and prioritize a vision for bicycle and pedestrian data gathering and use for the next five years.
