1. Welcome and Introduction
Attendees will have an opportunity to introduce themselves

2. Safety in FY07 Work Program
DVRPC's fiscal year 2007 draft work program was approved by the Board in December. Safety specific projects and programs as well as those with major safety components will be discussed.

3. Strategic Highway Safety Plan
As mandated by SAFETEA-LU state transportation departments are required to develop a data driven action plan that comprehensively identifies and analyzes highway safety problems and opportunities; representatives from PennDOT and NJDOT will give the task force an update on the development of both state's plan.

4. Guest Speakers
Roberto Rodriguez, Governor's Representative, Director, New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety will discuss diversity in transportation safety and the division's programs.
Patricia Ott, Director, Traffic Engineering and Safety, New Jersey Department of Transportation will give a presentation on the department's "Safe Corridor" program.

5. Regional Safety Action Plan Update
Each of the four sub committees have met twice over the past few months, the task force will be briefed on the discussions and major decisions as well as next steps.

6. Nominating Committee
As mentioned at our initial meeting a chairperson and vice chairperson will be nominated for the task force, a nominating committee is being formed to carry out that task.

7. Open Forum
In an effort to initiate information exchange, attendees will be asked to highlight new and existing safety projects and programs in the region.

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related nondiscrimination mandates in all programs and activities. Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice by DVRPC under Title VI has a right to file a formal complaint. Any such complaint must be in writing and filed with DVRPC's ADA and Title VI Compliance Officer Shoshana Akins and/or the appropriate state or federal agency within 180 days of the alleged discriminatory occurrence. Complaints that a program, service, or activity of DVRPC is not accessible to persons with disabilities should be directed to Shoshana Akins as well.
