Join us to learn how transportation and emergency management partners are preparing for large-scale events across Greater Philadelphia.

Join DVRPC in-person at the DVRPC office or online on Wednesday, November 20, at 6:00pm, for a Public Participation Task Force (PPTF) meeting on how the region is planning for FIFA 2026 and other major celebrations. The meeting will highlight the intermunicipal coordination and planning efforts required to successfully manage large-scale gatherings, with presentations from PennDOT, NJDOT, and the City of Philadelphia.

Hear how agencies are working together to ensure the region keeps moving during these exciting events and learn how planning now helps create a smoother, safer experience for everyone.

Register to attend online or in-person. Dinner will be available for in-person attendees.

DVRPC is currently accepting applications for the 2026 cohort of the PPTF. The mission of the PPTF is to provide ongoing access to the regional planning and decision-making process, to review timely issues, to serve as a conduit for DVRPC information to organizations and communities across the region, to assist the organization in implementing public outreach strategies, and to empower residents to get involved in regional planning.
