DVRPC’s Public Participation Task Force Seeks New Members for 2026

August 25, 2025

Applications for the 2025 cohort of DVRPC's Public Participation Task Force are open now through December 21, 2025.

Are you curious about the regional planning process? Do you have opinions on transit in your community? Perspectives like yours help shape DVRPC’s planning process. Apply to be a member of DVRPC’s Public Participation Task Force (PPTF).

The goal of the PPTF is to make it easier for residents to get  involved in regional planning. The PPTF offers a welcoming space to meet with planners, learn about timely topics, share ideas, and provide feedback. Members also help raise awareness of DVRPC’s work by sharing information and opportunities within their own communities. It’s a way for people to contribute their perspectives to transportation, funding, and planning decisions that affect their daily lives.

Benefits to being a Task Force member:

  • Learn about the urban planning process for the Greater Philadelphia region.
  • Be the first to hear about upcoming projects and initiatives.
  • Have face-to-face conversations with DVRPC staff about your neighborhood’s priorities.
  • Share your thoughts on how the planning process can support your community.
  • Meet passionate people who share similar interests.
  • Receive a stipend for your participation.

Applications for the 2026 cohort are open through December 21, 2025.
