For the upgrade of the existing antiquated Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) equipment on various state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties. For the acquisition and installation of replacement equipment for antiquated closed circuit (CCTV) cameras, changeable message signs (CMS) permanent and portable, incident detection system consisting of microwave detectors, loop detectors, video detectors, a travel time system consisting of Bluetooth readers, EZ-Pass tag readers, communications hubs, variable speed limit (VSL) signs, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), all software and all related equipment cabinets and load centers, the Regional Traffic Management Center (RTMC) which houses and operates work stations for CCTV, CMS communication systems and enclosures, fiber optic lines, power lines, underground and exposed conduit, junction boxes, and splice enclosures.
