D2504 | (Gloucester County)

The project is required to alleviate crashes, confusing geometrics and routine backups that occur at the CR610/CR612 intersection. The County Route 610 westbound leg (stop control leg) intersects the aligned legs of Franklinville Road and Clayton Road (the through movement legs) at an acute angle and is slightly misaligned with the Corkery Lane leg (stop control leg) of the intersection. The skew of the intersection along with this slight misalignment creates confusion with motorists on the current stop controlled legs on Clayton Road and Corkery Lane.
