This survey will inform the next Coordinated Human Services Plan (CHSTP) update. The CHSTP helps guide future transportation planning, investments, and funding decisions that improve access to jobs, healthcare, education, food, and other essential services throughout the region.
On April 28, the Build America Bureau of the U.S. Department of Transportation awarded DVRPC a Regional Infrastructure Accelerators (RIA) Grant of $1.15 million to support transportation infrastructure modernization and improvements in Lower South Philadelphia and Delaware County.
Selected projects construct pedestrian and bicycle facilities, improve access to public transportation, create safe routes to schools, create trail projects that serve a transportation purpose, or enhance safety for vulnerable travelers.
