The DVRPC/PennDOT Connects Complete Streets Resurfacing Program is an effort to identify roads for potential investment in bike-friendly and other complete street improvements as part of regularly scheduled PennDOT resurfacing projects.

Throughout Greater Philadelphia, organizations and advocates will participate in Bike Month: National Ride-A-Bike Day on May 2; National Bike & Roll to School Day on May 6; Bike-to-Work Week on May 11-17; Bike-to-Work and Wherever Day on May 13; and the Philadelphia Ride of Silence on May 20.

The Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) provides technical information and expertise to help municipal governments use transportation funds more effectively, improve road maintenance, and increase roadway safety.

The DVRPC Board has approved over $2.4 million to fund 13 groundbreaking transportation projects through the Travel Options Program (TOP). The program funds innovative projects that aim to reduce single-occupancy vehicle (SOV) trips and promote alternative travel options such as walking, biking, and taking transit.
