Residents can share their thoughts on how trucks, trains, and other freight activities affect transportation, businesses, and daily life in Greater Philadelphia.

DVRPC has initiated a two-year planning effort to develop a regional freight plan for the Greater Philadelphia region. As part of this effort, DVRPC has launched an interactive map where residents can share their thoughts on how trucks, trains, and other freight activities affect transportation, businesses, and daily life in Greater Philadelphia. Your input will help DVRPC identify locations where the goods movement system works well and areas where safety, congestion, access, or community impacts could be improved. Use the map to submit your comments by February 13, 2026.

DVRPC’s Regional Freight Plan will provide a coordinated vision and a set of strategies to guide how the region invests in, manages, and supports goods movement over the coming decades. Input from residents, local governments, industry partners, and community organizations is a critical component of the planning process. Learn more about the Regional Freight Planning process.
