The DVRPC Board approved the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Unified Planning Work Program at its January 25, 2024, meeting. This document outlines DVRPC’s planning projects and programs for the nine-county region from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.
The Work Program reflects policy direction and input from state and federal planning partners, member governments, operating agencies, and other regional organizations. Sample regional planning projects for the upcoming year include Regional Zoning Atlas, Rethinking Parking Requirements, Regional Truck Parking Study, Fare-free Transit on Air Quality Action Days Analysis, Workforce to Warehouses Shuttle Study, and Generating Open Space Funds via Earned Income Tax Analysis. New local projects include Philadelphia Pedestrian Bridge Study, Baltimore Pike Active Transportation Master Plan in Chester County, Environmental Resource Inventory for Burlington County River Communities, Hamorton Village Traffic Calming Charette in Chester County, Complete Streets Implementation for New Jersey Counties, and SEPTA Traffic Modeling/Signal Coordination for Erie Avenue in Philadelphia, among others.
