Public Notice: Improving Access to Opportunities in the Delaware Valley Region

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) will open a 30-day public comment period on March 26, 2007 for the Draft Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan (CHSTP): Improving Access to Opportunities in the Delaware Valley Region. The CHSTP aims to improve transportation services for persons with disabilities, older adults, and individuals with low incomes. Two public meetings on the subject are scheduled for Tuesday, April 10, 2007, from 4-6 p.m. in DVRPC's offices, in the ACP Building, 8th Floor, 190 N. Independence Mall West, Philadelphia and for Thursday, April 12, 2007, from 4-6 p.m. at the Cherry Hill Library, Multicultural Room, 1100 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill. DVRPC fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. DVRPC public meetings are always held in ADA accessible facilities and in transit-accessible locations when possible. Auxiliary services can be provided to individuals who submit a request at least seven days prior to a meeting.  For more information please call (215) 592-1800. The documents will also be on hand for review at the public meetings, and can be translated into an alternative format or language, if requested.
