Accessing current, reliable, and relevant data is critical to planners and decision makers. As the region's MPO, DVRPC provides access to a wealth of data, some original to the Commission and some provided by our partners.
DVRPC provides valuable data to the region's planners, policy makers, developers, and the public. Orthoimagery and traditional aerial imagery from as early as 1959 is available, as are traffic counts, detailed demographic analyses, and survey results.
DVRPC also provides access to data from a number of our partners, including federal agencies such as the Census Bureau. View maps of the functional classification system, find info on current highway and bridge projects, view various GIS mapping applications, or find info on housing construction.
DVRPC's Data Navigator is a one-stop data repository for all geographically-based Census and DVRPC data. Regional, County, Municipal (and even some Census Tract) data for various subject matters are viewable online and downloadable.
Formed in 1991 to provide a forum to discuss and share methods and technology for the creation, analysis, presentation and exchange of planning-related information in the Delaware Valley region.
Starting in July 2017, DVRPC is developing a regional sidewalk inventory and an online engagement platform to assist community planning efforts. In the first year of this multi-year project, DVRPC is collecting information on existing sidewalk inventories and creating a framework for an inventory that covers the region.
