2. DVRPC Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendments

  1. Amendment PA0101 - 41st Street Bridge over Amtrak's Main Line to Harrisburg and Passyunk Avenue Signal Corridor (City of Philadelphia)
  2. Amendment PA0102 - Re-manufacture of Electronic Locomotives (Amtrak)

3. DVRPC Year 2020 Long-Range Plan Amendment: Locally Preferred Alternative for the Schuylkill Valley Metro

Postponement of Board action took place for this project at the September Board Meeting. Action is now being requested to include the selected Locally Preferred Alternative for the Schuylkill Valley Metro in the DVRPC Year 2020 Long-Range Plan.

4. Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) Funding Request in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties

PENNVEST has forwarded seven applications to DVRPC for review for consistency with the regional plan.

5. DVRPC FY 2001 Planning Work Program Amendment: Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) Southerly Crossing Corridor

DVRPC will assist DRJTBC with this study by forecasting river crossings, related traffic patterns, and multi-modal needs and provide other assistance as needed for the successful completion of the study.

6. Approval of Board Meeting Schedule for Calendar Year 2002

7. Regional Citizens Committee (RCC) Report

Sue McNamara, Chairman of the RCC, will report to the Board the activities of the RCC's meeting of October 17, 2000.

8. Development of the DVRPC FY 2002 Planning Work Program

Highlights of the DVRPC Board FY 2002 Planning Work Program Committee meeting of October 26, 2000 will be reported.

9. Executive Director's Report

  1. New Jersey Regional Intergovernmental Transportation Study Commission (RITCSC) Meeting, October 3, 2000.
  2. Highway Obligation Report Card for Pennsylvania and New Jersey for FY 2000.

PRESENTATIONS

10. New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund

Jack Lettiere, Assistant Commissioner, New Jersey Department of Transportation, Capital Programming, will present the highlights of the New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund.

11. Regional Indicators

Following completion of the DIRECTION 2020 Long-Range Plan, staff prepared a report in 1998 analyzing trends and changes in eight different issue areas relative to the policy goals of the Plan. This report will provide an update of the data and regional trends.
