2. DVRPC Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Modification

  • Amendment 9950 - Penn DOT Adjustment Package I-95 and US 202 (Section 721)

3. DVRPC FY 2001 Planning Work Program Amendments

  1. Year 2020 Corridor Planning in New Jersey - US 30
    Each year staff studies one or more transportation corridors that are contained in the Year 2020 Plan. The Berlin to Camden (US 30) Corridor has been selected and a study in cooperation with New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) staff is proposed.

  2. City Avenue - Manayunk Circulator, Regional Bicycle Mobility Map, Manayunk travel Awareness Campaign, and Clean Fueled Fleets Rebate Program
    These four projects are being funded through PennDOT, however the individual contracts will be administered by DVRPC staff. In order to enter into contracts, they must be in the DVRPC FY 2001 Planning Work Program.

  3. Burlington County Route 130 Zoning Build-Out Analysis
    Burlington County has requested DVRPC undertake a zoning build-out analysis of twelve municipalities along the Route 130 corridor to calculate the potential for future development under the current zoning. DVRPC will also produce GIS maps and presentation materials.

  4. New Jersey Watershed Planning
    The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has requested DVRPC be responsible to prepare a watershed plan in Watershed Management Area 20, known as the Crosswicks Creek Watershed.

4. DVRPC Year 2020 Long-Range Plan Amendment: Locally Preferred Alternative for the Schuylkill Valley Metro

The Board of Directors of Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) and Berks Area Regional Transit Authority (BARTA) have selected a locally preferred alternative for the Schuylkill Valley Metro corridor and request its addition to the Year 2020 Plan. The Metro concept is consistent with the goals and policies of the Plan.

5. Proposed Transportation Development District (TDD) in Upper Dublin Township, Montgomery County

As a result of traffic engineering studies and interest of the business community to improve the Fort Washington Industrial Park, a Transportation Development District is proposed. Regional endorsement is required to advance a $6 million program of projects.

6. Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) Funding Request in Chester County

PENNVEST has forwarded an application to DVRPC for review for consistency with the regional plan. The project located in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County is a request for PENNVEST loan to replace the deteriorated North Wayne Water Tank No. 1 with a new tank of the same size.

7. Regional Citizens Committee (RCC) Report

Sue McNamara, Chairman of the RCC, will report to the Board the activities of the RCC's meeting of September 19, 2000. Ms. McNamara will also request that the Board endorse the RCC motion to support Congress' resolution to limit the weight of trucks to 80,000 pounds and oppose the use of triple-trailer trucks on the highways.

2. Contract Authorization: PA Route 41 Land Use / Management Alternatives Analysis, Chester County

DVRPC has been requested to assist the Chester County Planning Commission in undertaking a land use planning and implementation study for the Pa Route 41 corridor. Route 41, in southern Chester County is facing problems of congestion, vehicular and pedestrian safety, coupled with continuing development pressures.
