3. Proposed Change to the Federal Functional Classification System - Montgomery County

PennDOT has requested the deletion of McCoys Lane in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County from the Federal Functional Classification System since this is a private road and was inadvertently classified.

4. Adoption of the DVRPC Policy on the Reauthorization of the Federal Aviation System Operation and Development Program

AIR 21 is due to be reauthorized at the end of FY 2003. Programs and funding allocations in that legislation will have unique impacts and opportunities for RASP Airports and heliports. The Regional Aviation Committee (RAC) has prepared a policy paper for Board adoption.

PRESENTATION

7. Valley Forge National Historical Park Improvements

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, the National Park Service, Montgomery County, Chester County and DVRPC have been working closely together to develop transportation improvements needed around the Valley Forge National Historical Park, the new national Center for the American Revolution and the surrounding region. A year long study that led to recommendations and an interagency Programmatic Agreement for a range of highway and transit options will be presented.
