Lansdale Borough, Montgomery County is requesting the addition of Wood Street and Vine Street to the Federal Aid System and Board action is being requested to approve the change of functional classification for these streets.
4. Adoption of DVRPC's Transportation Operations Plan
DVRPC staff, in cooperation with the Transportation Operations Task Force, has prepared a Transportation Operations Plan, an element of the Connections Long-Range Plan. Board action is being requested to adopt the Transportation Operations Plan.
5. Adoption of the FY 2009 Safety Action Plan
The FY 2007 Regional Safety Action Plan has been updated to reflect the region's current seven key safety Emphasis Areas and the identified set of strategies to address these Emphasis Areas. Board action is being requested to adopt the updated Safety Action Plan.
6. DVRPC FY 2010 Planning Work Program Amendments

DVRPC will work with the planning and policy non-profit, New Jersey Future, which will conduct research and policy analysis of the barriers to municipal and regional use of transfer of Development Rights as a land preservation technique in New Jersey .

The activities from the RCC Meeting of October 13, 2009 will be reported to the Board.
PRESENTATION
9. Pennsylvania State Water Plan
Lori Mohr, Special Projects Manager, Department of Environmental Protection, will present the new Pennsylvania State Water Plan. The plan calls for designation of Critical Water Planning Areas (CWPA) and development of critical area resource plans for each designated CWPA.
